Lucerne is a photographic and filming studio located in a warehouse built at the end of the 19th century. It was home to the known Percy Dalton Peanut Factory which has now been largely converted into artist studios. The area where the studio is located, in the past known as "the island" is now surrounded by canals as a result of a draining process made in the late 18th. It is today a subdistrict of Tower Hamlets in east London and in 19th century become known as Fish Island in reference to the roads with the names of freshwater fish.

The location is enlighted by large warehouse style windows and a 6,5 meters skylight. The 1,240 sqft and the 5,5 - 7 meters range of height make it suitable for medium productions.
